American National is running a cash bonus program for life and annuity policies that are submitted, issued and paid between January 1, 2012 and April 30, 2012.  For annuities, each application $500,001-$750k will earn the writing agent $500, each application $750,001-$1mm will earn $750, and applications $1,000,001+ will earn $1k.  For life policies, each paper application submitted via mail, fax, or ScanIT will earn $50 and each electronic application submitted via iGO will earn $100 (this incentive does not apply to New York or simplified issue products).  Cash bonuses are not cumulative and are not available in all distributions.  Incentive payments will be provided at the end of the contest period.

Aviva will soon be launching a new agent website called Aviva Connect.  This new site will offer easier access, simplified navigation, new features and improved tools.  Development work is in the final stages so they will be inviting agents to register for the new site and take a test drive very soon!

Gleaner will launch a new line of annuity products called the Gleaner Yield Annuities to replace their Homestead Annuity products, effective January 16, 2012.  The majority of the product details are the same with only a few minor changes.  Contact the Aptus home office for details.
